AI chat replies without uploading screenshots: AI Text Reply, Replina and RIZR
Some apps sell themselves on never taking your screenshots off the phone. AI Text Reply processes on the device; Replina sends the screenshot to the AI and says it does not store it; RIZR processes on servers and, with an account, deletes the image after 30 days.

Are there AI reply apps that never upload my screenshots?
Yes. AI Text Reply says it runs on on-device AI with no cloud and no servers, so your messages never leave your phone. In exchange it downloads a large model and is listed in English only.
Does Replina process on the phone?
Not entirely. Its website says screenshots are processed in memory and sent to the AI without being stored on a server, although another line says your data never leaves your phone. When we checked, its privacy-policy link led nowhere.
What does RIZR do with my screenshots?
It processes them on servers to generate replies. With an account, the image is deleted automatically after 30 days and history stays until you delete the entry or your account. RIZRโs code does not reuse screenshots to train a RIZR model.
When does an on-device app make sense?
When the screenshot must never leave your phone and you have an iPhone or Mac with enough memory. If you want dating tones, openers, or the Professor, RIZR does more in exchange for server processing.
How do I protect my chats in any app?
Crop the screenshot to the part that matters, cover names, phone numbers, and other peopleโs photos, and do not upload conversations with sensitive data.
