An empty list is not a broken report. It means the model found no message in the export that meets the bar: literal quote, author, date, closed label.
Users sometimes panic when manipulation_patterns returns zero rows, or predicted friction is blank. The product prefers silence over hallucinated quotes. This article explains when emptiness is expected and what else to read.
Why lists stay empty
Short exports, mostly logistics, or conflict without quotable examples in the taxonomy. Also: genuinely steady chats with repair and follow-through.
